Maximum tuition fees are determined annually by the Australian College of Theology. It is current QTC policy that overseas students are charged at the same rate as domestic students.
For domestic and overseas students, projects are charged per credit point, according to the level of project studied (i.e. Level 9, 12cp project – $2,976; 24cp project – $5,952; 36cp project – $8,928).
The spouse of a current full time (48cp/semester) QTC student studying towards a three or four year degree is entitled to a discount on up to 8 units (96cp) at the following discounted rates:
– 50% subsidy where spouse undertakes studies concurrently with student, or
– 40% subsidy where the spouse undertakes studies in the 3 years following graduation of the student, or
– 25% subsidy where the spouse undertakes studies in years 4 or 5 after graduation of the student, or
– Up to 8 free audit subjects taken either during or up to 5 years following graduation of the student.
In cases where husband and wife are studying concurrently, the student taking the lower number of units in any given semester shall be the recipient of the applicable subsidy. These conditions apply to the spouse of a full-time overseas three year degree student if allowable under the individual’s visa conditions.
Current full time (48cp/semester) QTC students who are enrolled in a two year degree may audit 2 units free of charge whilst studying full time at QTC. Full time QTC students enrolled in a three year or longer degree may audit 4 units free of charge whilst studying full time at QTC.
# MTS students living regionally (greater than 250km away) who are in paid vocational ministry roles within QLD, NT or Northern NSW, who have a completed three or four year theological degree (e.g. MDiv, BTh, BD) are eligible for a subsidy of $250 per unit off their fees to offset travel costs.
Withdrawing from a unit after the prescribed Census Date incurs full tuition fees in accordance with the ACT’s ‘Unit Enrolment and Results Policy’. No fee refunds are available after the Census Date. A ‘Variation to Enrolment’ administration fee of $100 may be charged for alterations to enrolment that occur between Week 3 and Census Date each semester.
Queensland Theological College (QTC) is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology (ACT). The tuition fees are set by ACT on an annual basis. More information about tuition fees is available at https://www.actheology.edu.au/tuition-fees/
