Just as some first generation Christians misunderstood the true grace of God, so too a similar problem exists today. Peter wrote two letters: the first, a brief letter of encouragement to stand firm in the true grace of God (1 Peter 5:12); the second are his last words to the Church (2 Peter 1:14).
