Women’s How to Teach the Bible Day – Unpacking the book of Ruth with Megan Walsh

Come and be equipped to craft a Bible talk for women or children in your context; to teach the Bible better in your small group; to help women wrestle with heart issues and answer hard
questions.
We will consider:
- How do we learn from a book that is set at such a historical distance from our lives?
- What are the big themes that Ruth wants to show us? And how do they help us appreciate Christ?
- How can we teach the Old Testament pastorally, without making it all about me?
Morning tea will be provided, but please BYO lunch.
There is some preparation to make the most of the day. Please complete the worksheet in the link below and return to [email protected] by 1st May

About Megan
Megan loves opening the Bible with others and seeing the grace of God illuminated there. Currently, she gets to do this at Providence Church, where she serves as Ministry Director; through one-to-ones, small groups, in training leaders and at Kids’ Church. She also teaches the Hebrew language to QTC students to equip them to enjoy God’s word and teach it faithfully too.
