Exciting new Certificate for those involved in Children’s Ministry

QTC Certificate in Children’s Ministry.


When:
Monday evenings at QTC 6pm-9pm; simultaneously livestreamed to small groups or individuals around Queensland and beyond.

Duration of Course: To complete the whole certificate will take two years (two 13-week semesters per year).

Teaching Staff: This certificate will be led by Fiona Millar, our lecturer in Children’s Ministry, assisted by experienced practitioners from around the state, and other members of the QTC Faculty.

Curriculum: For details of the first unit, Church-based Children’s Ministry, please visit the ACT website (graduate level or undergraduate level). Subsequent units will address the specific challenges of teaching the whole Bible to children, introducing children to theology, spiritual formation and development in children, writing curriculum, ethics and children’s ministry, and other key practical issues in building and maintaining a healthy children’s ministry.

Qualifications: Students who complete all units in the QTC Certificate in Children’s Ministry will receive either an ACT Graduate Certificate of Divinity or Undergraduate Certificate of Ministry, depending on the level of study.
