Mark Driscoll Biblical Theology of Mission Part One"All Things to all men by all means...?" August 28
[22/4/2008]
Queensland is a tough mission field - we are surrounded by unprecedented prosperity and religious indifference. How do we plant effective churches, and revitalise complacent old ones, in a culture like this? In this exciting one-day conference for pastors, church leaders, and theological students, Mark Driscoll will challenge us to be doctrinally faithful and culturally relevant. Mark Driscoll founded Mars Hill Church in Seattle in the autumn of 1996. The church has grown from a small Bible study to a large congregation in one of America's least churched cities. He leads the Acts 29 Church Planting Network. Coffee from 9:30am, main program from 10am to 3pm. Held on the University of Queensland campus. Morning session at the Raybould Lecture Theatre (click for map), afternoon session at the Abel Smith Lecture Theatre. Pay parking is available on campus in green and purple zones. Registration $50, including lunch. Pre-registration essential. Register here as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
