Culture vs Cross Culture - Dr. Bruce WinterTheir challenge THEN - Our challenge NOW Series 1Dr. Winter considers the relationships between the early Christians and the Draeco-Roman world to be critical for Christians today. There are important life-chnaging lessons that can be learned about what does, but was never to, shape our own lives as contemporary Australian Christians.
Series 4 - RomansDr. Winter considers that Christians, and sometimes denominations, read parts of Romans to confirm they are right. Some finish at Romans 3; others 6 or 8 or 11 or 13. To get the complete picture, to be transformed by Christ, to really live the Christian life, we need to read through ALL of Romans.
Series 5 - 1 & 2 PeterJust as some first generation Christians misunderstood the true grace of God, so too a similar problem exists today. Peter wrote two letters: the first, a brief letter of encouragement to stand firm in the true grace of God (1 Peter 5:12); the second are his last words to the Church (2 Peter 1:14).
