Description:

Free Public Seminar with Bruce Winter

Bruce Winter is a world renowned author, and conference speaker.  He is a former  Principal and now theological college lecturer and Research Professor, as well as the  Director of the Institute for Early Christianity in the Greco-Roman World.

In the introduction of his work After Paul Left Corinth Dr. Bruce Winter says: “The significance of the role that cultural conditioning continued to play in the lives of Christians  after Paul left Corinth has either been ignored or underestimated in explaining the reason for their subsequent difficulties”

Hear how this cultural conditioning that affected the Corinthian church in the 1st century, can if we are not watchful, disrupt and possibly undermine the effectiveness of the church and individual Christians in the 21st century also.

Come and hear Bruce Winter expound the book of 1 Corinthians in which he reveals The Causes of Compromise, The Consequences of Conformity to the World, and The Cures for Compromise.

Date: Saturday, 26 May
