What we believe
What we believe
- We confess that our supreme standard is the Word of God, namely the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.
- We adhere to the system of doctrine taught in the infallible Word of God, the Bible, as that system was clarified in the Reformation of the sixteenth century.
- We recognise our Reformed heritage as that set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
- We seek to be unified in Spirit in accordance with John 17 and Ephesians 4.
- We seek to be evangelistic in stance by engaging the wider culture in society with the claims of Christ as Lord not only of His Church but also of His creation.
- We seek to be a community who are not conformed to the prevailing ideological patterns and idolatries of our present world culture, but instead eagerly seek to be transformed by the renewing of our minds under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, not only with respect to personal salvation but also with respect to the whole of life.
